Gold Kiwifruit

Our sweet and juicy Gold Kiwifruit will be flying out the door this week after a successful sampling demonstration over the weekend. The Gold Kiwi season is at its peak right now and there is an abundance of this fruit on the market floor. Slice one in half and use a spoon to scoop out its mellow yellow flesh. Blend it into your favourite drink, slice it over dessert, toss it into a salad, or combine with green kiwifruit for a feast of colour and taste.

New in store this week are our golden nugget mandarins. They are not the prettiest looking mandarins going around but their rich sweet taste is divine. They are perfect for the younger ones as they are easy to peel and have no seeds. Give these guy a go! You’ll come back for more!

Chestnuts!

Winter is here and its time for chestnuts (and wine)! We’ve got some nice varieties in store that are great quality and great tasting. You’re missing out if you’re not enjoying them at least twice a week at the moment.

Winter vegetables have been popular over the past weeks and the supply has been good. Despite cooler growing conditions up North, there has been abundance of capsicums, zucchini, beans, pumpkins and even tomatoes. Throw all of these into a pot for a nice hearty soup to warm the insides.
